12 Sixth day. Violent and abundant epistaxis; after a shivering fit followed a hot, copious sweating all over; no fever; a crisis. In the fever and after the crisis menstruation for the first time, for she was a young maiden. Throughout she suffered nausea and shivering; redness of the face; pain in the eyes; heaviness in the head. In this case there was no relapse, but a definite crisis. The pains on the even days.
